About me...
I am a Certified Personal Trainer. I am over 40 and in the best shape of my life! A few years ago, I
realized I was a late 30's, sitting on the couch, out of shape man who
didn't have the energy to go get more chips from the kitchen. Then at 3
a.m. one morning the P90x infomercial came on. I watched for 20 seconds
and flipped on. Then a few days later it was on again. This time I
watched for a full 60 seconds...and flipped on. This went on for months,
with my attention span getting longer and longer. So I did it. I bought
it. IT KICKED MY OUT OF SHAPE BUTT!...a few times I puked, and most of the
time I cried as my then 10 year old daughter laughed at me. She is not
laughing anymore and now brags about how tough her Dad is.
My journey was not an easy one as I have a rare muscle disorder that runs in my family and the pain factor of workouts at first was horrible at times. It gets easier but stays challenging and has put me back into life again.
That was the beginning of my journey. It opened doors I never thought I could walk through. even back in my 20's I didn't think I could. I'm here to tell you and show you - YOU CAN! Now, a P90x graduate I have prided myself on devouring all the training methods I could find. I practice everything from plyometrics, bike riding, HIIT training (High Intensity Interval Training), weight lifting, and yes, even yoga. I have coached many clients to reach and surpass their goals and lose tons of weight. I love to watch the change happen in people. This is why I decided to become a trainer.
